Crystal IS

Crystal IS, an Asahi Kasei company, was founded in 1997 to develop a native aluminum nitride (AIN) substrate for reliable, more powerful semiconductor devices. That industry-leading technology is now used to manufacture top quality LEDs that emit UV light, including deep UV (UVC) LEDs. These LEDs are integrated into end products that disinfect air, water, and many surfaces in a variety of applications. Crystal IS LEDs can be used as light sources for industrial and scientific instrumentation.
